One Direction have spoken of their excitement at their next single.

The lads are due to release the track 'Steal My Girl' as the first official single from their upcoming album 'FOUR'.

The effort will be released on October 12 as the band follow-up to their 24-hour download-only 'Fireproof'.

Speaking on Twitter about the song, Louis Tomlinson wrote:

"Absolutely cannot wait for you guys to hear Steal My Girl on 29th September!"

One Direction's fourth album 'FOUR' meanwhile will be released on November 17.

The record will follow-up One Direction's third album 'Midnight Memories', which topped charts in 2013.
