Niall Horan: 'We all sit together and watch 'The X Factor' when it's on'

Now that the new series of 'The X Factor' is underway in the UK, former finalist Niall Horan has revealed that he's so glad to see music mogul Simon Cowell back on the panel.

The 'Story Of My Life' heartthrob, who finished third with his band One Direction back in 2010, admitted that Simon Cowell's return to the UK 'X Factor' is doing wonders for the show's popularity and added that when One Direction have free time they love to get together and watch it:

"In our common room on tour, everyone is sat there watching it. Cheryl’s great - she looks fantastic - and Simon’s still the same. It’s making a big difference as it was kind of lost without him."

During a recent interview with London's Metro newspaper, the superstar confessed that he sometimes craves 'alone time' when everything's getting a little crazy on the road or in the studio with the other lads: "There are some days where I wish I could just sit on my own and have a bit of my own time – but you just chill out for a day without being bothered."
