One Direction star Liam Payne reached out to the band's fans as their latest tour finished.

The band played their final date on their Where We Are world stadium tour on Sunday (October 5) in Miami.

Payne took time out near the end of the concert to speak to all the fans who have been to see them on the run.

He said: "On behalf of me and the boys, this has been the most amazing tour we have ever done in our lives. Thank you so, so much.

"You guys are incredible. I know sometimes people think that we take it for granted, but I want to say on behalf of me and guys, we love you very , very much. You really do mean the world to us.

"We don't always get it right, but you guys are always there for us."

One Direction meanwhile are due to release their new album 'FOUR' on November 17 before performing in countries like Australia and Japan on their On The Road Again tour next year.
