One Direction rep denies Zayn Malik will leave the group

A rep for One Direction has dismissed suggestion that Zayn Malik will quit the boyband.

The Daily Star recently reported that the singer could go solo after Labrinth revealed that he was working with Malik on a "soulful record".

The 'Let It Be' star said at the weekend: "I'm going to do something with Zayn. We're going to make a soulful record. 100 per cent.

"He's got a soulful voice. We're good, we're cool."

However, a rep for the boyband told the Gossip Cop that the quit rumours are not true.

One Direction are scheduled to release their fourth album 'FOUR' on November 17.
