One Direction have debuted their new music video.

The boyband have been teasing their 'Steal My Girl' promo clip for a number of days and today (October 24) it got its official unveiling.

The video sees the group team up with Danny Devito, who acts as an art-loving director who wants to brighten up the desert landscape.

The legendary actor assigns each member of the group titles - such as Zayn Malik being dubbed 'mysterious' - before they are encouraged to lose their inhibitions.

However, the video's use of a chimp has recently come under fire from animal rights groups such as PETA and Wild Futures.

'Steal My Girl' will feature on One Direction's upcoming album 'FOUR', which will be released on November 17.
