One Direction on 'Steal My Girl' music video: 'It's one of the best we've ever made'

Earlier today (October 24), the One Direction lads unveiled their highly anticipated music video for 'Steal My Girl' and they've revealed that it is "one of our best" offerings yet.

The cut stars Danny DeVito as the lads' video director and it was directed by Ben Turner and Gabe Turner, and the lads' former creative collaborator Ben Winston is credited as the producer. Member Louis Tomlinson took to his official Twitter page this morning and told his followers that they're so proud of the video:

"Steal my girl is one of the best videos we’ve ever made :) !! We hope you love it as much as we do."

The music video also features a cameo from an adorable chimpanzee, but the monkey's appearance raised eyebrows over at animal rights charity, PETA. The organisation wrote an open letter to the boyband, asking them to axe the chimp's scenes:

"PETA is asking that the boys immediately cut the scene with the chimpanzee and the other wild animals, pledge never to work with wild animals again and donate a percentage of the proceeds from the song to an organisation that rescues chimpanzees and cares for them properly."
