One Direction on 'Four': 'We recorded it on tour in a truck with an studio built into it'

Earlier today (October 29), the One Direction lads sat down in a secret location with Radio 1's Scott Mills for an exclusive interview about their forthcoming new studio album, 'FOUR'.

Speaking about the record and the creative process behind making it, the heartthrobs explained that the majority of the work was done on the road while they were touring across the USA:

"Literally everywhere. We recorded most of it in America this summer when we were on tour. We had a truck that had a couple of studios kind of built into it. It was an MOD vehicle or something... They used to use if for recording dodgy people."

Harry Styles then went onto add that every song on the album has roots in at least three different places because they were travelling all the time while writing and laying down vocals: "One of the cool things about this one is that each song might have been recorded in three different places. This is the one we're most proud of."
