One Direction address split reports: 'We'll take more time with our next album and it'll seem like a break'

There seem to be a constant stream of rumours swirling around the One Direction lads and the longevity of their collective career, but the boys have confirmed that they have no plans to bow out of music in the near future.

Heartthrob Zayn Malik explained to In:Demand that they aren't planning on splitting or calling time on being a boyband, and they're really excited about the release of their brand new record: "We haven’t really got any sort of break in mind at the minute. We just want to get this [upcoming album, Four,] out and see what [fans] think of this.”

Member Louis Tomlinson then chimed in and added that there might be a significant chunk of time between the release of 'FOUR' and their next studio effort, but that will be because they want to space things out and not rush things: "We might take a little bit more time on this [next] record, so that’s why they may think we are going on a break. We just want to take a little bit more time.”
