One Direction star Zayn Malik has been included in a list of Britain's most powerful Asians.

The list, which was compiled by the Asian Media and Marketing Group, sees Culture Secretary Sajid Javid top the influence list.

Singer Malik, however, has to settle with tenth place - a drop of three places since last year.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, who fled to Britain after being shot in Pakistan for campaigning for female education rights, lands at No.2.

At No.3 on the list is the Labour Party's Keith Vaz, who leads the Home Affairs Committee in the UK Parliament.
