One Direction's Harry Styles on Taylor Swift writing about him: 'She's really good, they're good songs'

Heartthrob Harry Styles has revealed that having songs written about him by ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift is fine because he understands that as a songwriter, it's completely natural to draw from personal experience.

During One Direction's recent Google Hangout to promote their forthcoming new album 'FOUR', the superstar was asked about having his romantic relationship portrayed in such a public way and confessed that while it's a little strange, he feels 'lucky' that Swift pens such great tracks:

“We write from personal experience, and I think everyone does, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like, 'Oh you can’t write about us,' And she's really good, so they’re good songs. So I’m really lucky in that sense."

One Direction, meanwhile, will appear on the new Band Aid single and Bob Geldof praised their dedication to the cause as they've agreed to give up their only day off to record parts for the song: "One Direction - God bless them - they have one day off, and they're coming in to do this. That's cool. It's not easy; all of us have schedules, all of us have stuff to do."
