Louis Tomlinson hits out at journalist for 'ridiculous' article about sexuality

Louis Tomlinson has responded to a "ridiculous" article about One Direction and sexuality.

The singer was recently the subject of a piece in the Independent written by Jenn Selby that was entitled 'Louis Tomlinson supports gay Apple CEO Tim Cook - days after Harry Styles' comments on gender and sexuality'.

It focused on a picture of Tomlinson wearing a t-shirt sporting a rainbow coloured Apple logo days after company boss Cook revealed that he is gay.

However, the Brit has seemingly taken offence to the article, with the singer writing on Twitter:

"@JennSelby The fact that you work for such a 'credible' paper and you would talk such rubbish is laughable.

"I am in fact straight...F**king ridiculous I even have to tweet that s**t!"

Tomlinson added: "Google 'original apple logo' and you will see the one printed on my shirt that you reported on. Trying to look for a promotion?"

The article also made reference to comments made in a recent interview by Harry Styles about what the band look for in women.

Liam Payne said that 'female' is at the top of his list, but Harry Styles then chimed in to say that it's 'not that important' to him.
