One Direction star Zayn Malik says any arguments between the band are always quickly resolved.

The quintet have spent months on the road since forming in 2010 and the singer admitted that sometimes they rub each other the wrong ways.

However, Malik told A Current Affair that any arguments that do happen are usually just part and parcel of life.

He said: We try to keep it as normal as we can. And if we didn’t have arguments about some things, that wouldn’t be that normal.

“So we tell each other when we have problems with each other and we try to sort it out, and we normally sort it out."

One Direction meanwhile released their new album 'FOUR' on November 17.
