One Direction star Harry Styles has admitted that his thoughts often stray to food whilst he is performing on stage.

The Brit is a heartthrob to millions and he performs in front of full stadiums of adoring fans whilst on tour.

However, he told Top of the Pops magazine that his mind is often on his next meal when he is on stage.

Styles said: "Every show is different, but sometimes I do wonder what I'll be having for my tea that night. But I try to remain focused."

The singer added that one of his weirdest fan gifts was a toilet seat:

"Someone sent me a toilet seat for my birthday. They had written all over it - and that was my birthday present."
