Zayn Malik named Britain's sexiest Asian man

One Direction star Zayn Malik has come out top in a poll of Britain's sexiest Asian men.

Eastern Eye magazine recently asked readers to vote for their hottest male and female Asians in the UK and the singer has come out trumps in the former category.

The Only Way is Essex's Jasmin Walia topped the women's list.

Malik, however, had to make do with ninth place when it came to the magazine's sexiest Asians in the the world rundown.

Speaking about the One Direction man, Eastern Eye showbiz editor Asjad Nazir said:

"Zayn has a huge global fan base especially on social media and has more fans in India than many of the biggest Bollywood stars. He regularly trends across Twitter in the sub-continent more than any other British celebrity.

"That is why many of the big Bollywood film producers are very eager to sign him up to star in a movie or to deliver a song. That global multi-cultural fan base is the reason why he will be the biggest success from One Direction when the band eventually breaks up and they go solo."
