Songwriter confirms work on new One Direction album

Songwriter Wayne Hector has stated that One Direction plan to release another album.

Gossip has suggested that the group's future has been in doubt following the release of 'FOUR' late last year.

However, Hector told The Sun that he is scheduled to contribute to the group's fifth record.

He said: "I'm finishing off some songs with Sigma then I’m going to start writing for the new One Direction album.

“I’m really looking forward to it - they’re always great to work with."

Hector has helped to pen tracks like 'Best Song Ever', 'Steal My Girl' and 'Little White Lies'.

He has also written for acts such as Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears and Westlife.
