One Direction have appeared in a new promotional video for US TV's The Late, Late Show.

Brit and friend of the boyband James Corden is taking over presenting duties on the programme from March 23.

An advert for his show aired during the Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 8).

It saw three members of One Direction - Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson - plug the show alongside Corden and Reggie Watts.

A host of celebrities are stepping in to host The Late, Late Show following Craig Ferguson's departure after a number of years at the helm.

One of the stand-ins was John Mayer, who took to the show's stage to perform alongside Ed Sheeran.
