Harry Styles visits charity in Cape Town and treats students to 1D tickets

One Direction superstar Harry Styles recently took some time out from his band's On The Road Again tour while they were in Cape Town last week to visit children's charity The Lalela Project.

While he visited the organisation's offices, he saw the great work it does as well as hung out with some of the young people it helps, many of whom have experienced poverty, armed conflict, and deadly diseases. Styles even gave them concert tickets for the 1D concert that night

A mission statement on the project's Instagram page explains that "The Lalela Project provides educational arts to at risk youth, sparking creative thinking and awakening the entrepreneurial spirit" and several pictures of the 'Story Of My Life' superstar spending time with Lalela students were uploaded to it last week (shown below and above left).

Accompanying one of the photographs was the caption: "With the incredible Harry Styles from 1Direction who comped Lalela students with tickets to the show in Cape Town. Shout out to Marlon for organising! #thanksHarry #1D #forthekids #capetown #lalela #lalelaproject @akerzner."

Styles' mother, Anne, also shared links to various articles about her son's involvement with the project from her Twitter page to show how proud she is of him.
