One Direction's Irish heartthrob Niall Horan spent a good part of yesterday (April 8) being the official caddie for golfer Rory Mcilroy at the Par 3 Contest. 

He told his followers online that the experience was incredible, but ended up slipping on some pine leaves and the tumble was caught on live television. Writing about the awkward moment on his official Twitter page, the superstar laughed it off and confessed that he had an amazing time nonetheless:

"About to caddie for @McIlroyRory!! Follow @TheMasters to watch us win the #par3contest. Well that was an incredible experience, thanks @McIlroyRory for letting me do that, shame I pulled my shot into the water!!! I've been lucky enough to do some pretty amazing things, but that's gotta be up there huh? Loved it."

"Also, can't say I've ever been so nervous in my life than when Rory handed me that golf club, horrendous shot! If you're walking around Augusta, don't step on the pine leaves, slippy as hell Hahahaha! #redfaced!
