One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne attended a 'Great Gatsby' themed event (pictured below) with Trekstock, a charity that aims to help young adults diagnosed with cancer, last night and revealed that he is honoured to be working with them.

Late yesterday evening (April 16), Payne told his followers that he's proud of how readily they are supporting the cause: "Such an amazing evening with all the @trekstock guys! Thanks to everyone who made it down for this incredible cause."

"And thanks everyone donating at home for @trekstock! You guys are amazing. Amazing night so happy to raise so much for the best cause huge thank you to everyone you're all amazing."

Trekstock is aiming to raise a total of $100,000 and the counter confirms that $50,641 has been donated so far, but there are still 13 days left on the campaign. As previously reported, one lucky fan who donates will win the opportunity to attend their London concert and meet them backstage.
