Morgan Spurlock thinks Zayn Malik was the most talented vocalist in One Direction.

The singer quit the group in March after five years to spend more time out of the limelight.

Spurlock directed One Direction's 2013 documentary film This Is Us and he looked into the personal lives of each member.

Speaking to TMZ, the movie man said that Malik's vocals will be missed from the band.

He said: "I think Zayn is probably the most talented guy in the group, he's an incredible singer, all of them are talented singers but to make the decision to want to leave and go off on your own and chase a solo career in the midst of being as successful and as famous as you are, you can't fault someone for that."

Spurlock also suggested that Harry Styles could be the next to leave the group.
