James Corden teases 'major fun' for 1D's 'The Late Late Show' appearance

One Direction will be on America's 'The Late Late Show' tonight and presenter James Corden has been teasing their appearance on the programme's official Twitter page

The heartthrobs, who are now performing and recording as a four-piece band, will appear on the show later this evening (May 14) and host James Corden told Directioners this morning: "BRB. Getting ready for tomorrow night's #LateLateShow with @onedirection."

Corden also tweeted: "BIG day tomorrow with #OneDirection on the #LateLateShow. We're off to go prepare for some MAJOR fun."

Earlier this week, meanwhile, Irish member Niall Horan and 1D filmmaker Ben Winston shared a snapshot of themselves posing in the 'The Late Late Show' photobooth (pictured above left).

Liam Payne explained to his followers last week that he and the boys can't wait to get on the set because they have some 'surprises' planned for viewers: "We're all so excited to be appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden. James is one of our best mates and we're so proud of the massive success his show is having in America. We are currently working on a few surprises with James and his team that we hope our fans will enjoy. It's going to be a great night!"
