One Direction dismiss split reports: 'We're just taking our time to get things right'

UK based boyband One Direction have been plagued with split rumours since member Zayn Malik quit the band back in March, but they have reassured fans that they're not going anywhere and are excited about their upcoming fifth studio album.

Speaking to Vodafone at yesterday's Capital FM Summertime Ball, heartthrob Liam Payne explained that he and the other lads will be sticking around for quite some time as they're just about to enter an exciting new phase of their career:

"We don't know where that (split rumour) came from because we've got loads of stuff going on. We've just been rehearsing the new songs at the minute so we're taking a bit of time. We want to get it right. Obviously Zayn's got a good voice so it's quite fun doing the high bits."
