One Direction heartthrob Louis Tomlinson has been in the press a lot over the last few weeks following a story that broke suggesting he is to become a father, and he has now thanked fans for their incredible and unwavering support. 

While the 'Story Of My Life' sensation is yet to officially comment on the baby rumours, he took to his Twitter page this morning to honour his fans for being so amazing over the last 5 years that 1D have been together:

"Every single day we are thankful for the platform that you incredible people gave us. What an amazing 5 years it's been!! You have been by far the most incredible fanbase and nothing you do goes unnoticed. We are so lucky to have you guys! Thanks so much."

He added: "Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. My attempt of expressing how thankful we are for you guys. Defo does get emotional watching all these videos you guys have made for the 5 years! You guys are too good to us."
