One Direction star Niall Horan has revealed that he has fractured his foot - and he doesn't know how.

The singer told the crowd at the band's gig in Montreal on Saturday (September 5) that he found out the news after recently having an X-ray.

He said: "I woke up before the show the other day and I had a pain in my foot.

"Then I went to get an X-ray today and I've got a fractured right foot and I don't know how."

The Irishman later took to Instagram to post a picture of his right leg without a shoe on.

One Direction meanwhile are currently on their On The Road Again world tour.

The group, however, recently confirmed that they will take a break in 2016.
