1D on their hiatus: 'It'll bring better music and more energy'

'Drag Me Down' hitmakers One Direction have opened up about their forthcoming break from the spotlight and confessed that it will be productive to have time off as they'll be able to regroup with more energy and passion than before.

During a new interview with Beats1 Radio, the heartthrobs spoke about their planned hiatus and revealed that it is definitely going to be a temporary break and they think it'll be good for their creativity:

"I don't think that's a bad thing. We've been very fast with the way we've had our career so far and they way things have moved for us has been so amazing... we're one of the only bands who've been able to tour and make albums for the last four years.

"I actually think that having a break will bring nothing but better music and us with more energy for performance. We'll be able to give more to our craft rather than being something that's made... not that our new album was rushed at all. It's going to be nice and we're all going to go and explore music a bit more."
