Harry Styles on new album: 'We focused on writing the best songs'

One Direction star Harry Styles says the band are "really proud" of their next album.

The group will release their fifth effort 'Made in the A.M.' on November 13.

Speaking on ITV's Lorraine today (October 19), Styles said that the album is the culmination of some "focused" writing sessions.

He said: "We're like really proud of this one. We worked really hard.

"We focused on writing the best songs that we could and we wanted to make a nice group of songs that we like, and we hope everyone else like them."

One Direction meanwhile are set to go on an extended break in 2016.

The hiatus is expected to take place from March as the four singers focus on solo endeavours.

The group will not tour 'Made in the A.M.' as a result of the time off.
