One Direction tell fans to stop throwing iPhones at them

One Direction have revealed that fans often throw iPhones at them.

The band told ITV's This Morning that they regularly have things chucked at them when on stage.

One item they're confused about, however, is expensive phones.

Louis Tomlinson said: "It does baffle me because there's a lot of things that get thrown.

"Actually more often than not there are iPhones thrown on [stage] and you can just imagine these kids' parents when they get home, 'Where's your iPhone?' 'Oh I threw it on stage at the people I'm there to support'."

Niall Horan added: "I love you, but here is a phone to the head."

Liam Payne said that he once had a Terry's Chocolate Orange lobbed at his head - but he doesn't like it when coins fly in.

Harry Styles then said: "That's not that bad. I made £1.70 at the last concert."

Payne concluded that the best way to get their attention is with signs.

One Direction's fifth album 'Made in the A.M.' meanwhile is on course to top the UK chart on Friday (November 20) - meaning that Justin Bieber will have to make do with No.2.
