1D hang out with OMI: 'I forgot to send him songs I'd been working on'

Boyband One Direction were at the BBC Music Awards this afternoon and they revealed that it was exciting to be involved.

During a new interview with the BBC at today's BBC Music Awards, the lads admitted that it's a great atmosphere backstage and Liam Payne confessed that he spent time with 'Cheerleader' hitmaker OMI:

"It's nice to see everyone... it's very friendly backstage. It was nice. I chatted to OMI and Hozier, and Jess Glynne. I went into the studio with him (OMI) a while ago to show him a few things I was doing and forgot to send the songs to him. He was like, 'where was the call, man?'"

As previously reported, 1D will make an appearance on Alan Carr's 'Chatty Man' tomorrow night (December 11) at 10pm on Channel 4 before performing live on 'The X Factor' finale on Sunday night (December 13) at Wembley Arena in London.
