Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson turned up together at London's O2 for tonight's BRIT Awards.

Even though the band are on a break, fans were still left upset that more band members did not show.

The two boys' red carpet appearance caused 'Louis and Liam' to start trending on Twitter. 

One Direction are nominated for 'Best Artist Video' for 'Drag Me Down' and British Group.

Tomlinson and Payne told one reporter as they entered the event that if they won, they might auction Harry Styles' and Niall Horan's awards as they don't know what to do with them.

One Direction fan, @freyakristie, tweeted: 

"So Louis and Liam are at the Brits... Harry, Niall where you at???? #BRITs2016"

@LarentsWedding tweeted: "Do you think Harry is sitting at home, scrolling through twitter on his fan account, seeing the pics of Louis and Liam"

The two boys are presenting the 'British Female Solo Artist' award this evening.
