Harry Styles' sister has revealed that the singer was once asked for a selfie at the funeral of their grandmother.

Gemma Styles wrote in a blog for The Debrief that a distant relative asked for the photo.

She used the example in a piece penned about whether selfie culture has gone too far.

Syles wrote: "My most frustrating personal experience of this was the ‘friend’/distant relative at my grandma’s funeral who was trying to bring in her granddaughter or niece or someone to have a picture with my brother.

"At a funeral. Our grandmother’s funeral. ‘Smh’ doesn’t really cover it."

Styles meanwhile is currently enjoying some time off as One Direction continue their prolonged break through 2016.
