Charity says Harry Styles wanted to donate hair for a while

Little Princess Trust founder Wendy Tarplee-Morris says Harry Styles has wanted to give them his hair for some time.

The singer recently uploaded a picture of some chopped locks and confirmed it was headed to the charity.

Tarplee-Morris appeared on ITV's This Morning today (May 10) to speak about how the donation came about.

She said: "We didn't [know about Harry Styles's hair cut and it going viral]. Of course we were ecstatic when it happened.

"A little while back his management team contacted the charity and said he'd expressed an interest in supporting us.

"So we gave some information and details to them and it was left if anything were to happen, they would come back to us. And then it on Friday, it all happened."

Tarplee-Morris added that the charity hasn't received Styles' hair yet - but it is on its way.

It has been rumoured that the singer had to cut his hair for a reported role in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film Dunkirk.

The Little Princess Trust creates wigs for children suffering with hair loss.
