One Direction star Niall Horan reckons Ellie Goulding 'killed it' at this weekend's Glastonbury Festival.

The singer performed on the main Pyramid Stage on Sunday evening (June 26).

Her friend Horan mingled with the crowd and took her set in.

Posting a photo of the performance on Instagram on Monday (June 27), the Irishman wrote:

"Yesterday I watched my best friend play main stage at Glastonbury.

"She killed it as always. so happy for her! @elliegoulding."

This year's Glastonbury headliners meanwhile were Muse, Adele and Coldplay.

They helped the festival break viewing figure records on the BBC.
