Niall Horan talks receiving 'harsh' comments from internet trolls

One Direction star Niall Horan admits receiving abuse from internet trolls can be hard to take.

The singer has nearly 26 million followers on Twitter and as a result the Irishman often receives hate messages.

Speaking to ODE, the music star said trolls are just looking to get a reaction.

Horan said: "What goes on on the internet at times is a little bit harsh.

"Some of the stuff that was said about myself and my family was quite harsh, which I don't think should be said on the internet.

"It's meant to be a happy place and these are people who are so-called fans of mine abusing me."

Today (July 5) meanwhile is the first #StandUpToBullying Day.
