One Direction's Zayn Malik rejoins bandmates in the US

One Direction's Zayn Malik has rejoined his bandmates in the US after he had to return to Britain following a death in his family.

The band had announced on Wednesday (February 29) that Malik had to go home after a family loss.

They were at the time in the throes of a US tour supporting boyband Big Time Rush, and had to perform as a quartet.

However, Malik took to Twitter to announce that he has returned to America, and seemed in good spirits. He said:

"Back in the US can't wait to see the boys hopefully they haven't missed me too much aha ! :D x x."

One Direction comrade Niall Horan replied back to him: "Malik is back! Can't wait t see ya man! Missed ya big time all week! Billlllyyyy."
