One Direction and Big Time Rush to "record video together"

One Direction and US touring chums Big Time Rush are recording a video together, according to reports.

The Daily Star says that Big Time Rush's Coy Carlos Pena revealed the two groups - who have been sharing the stage out in America - are due to make a video together.

However, he is quoted as saying to not expect an actual singing collaboration -  but he left the door open for a blockbuster transatlantic duet. He said:

"We are making a video with One Direction. You never know if there's going to be a singing collaboration. We have to leave some mystery."

One Direction meanwhile have been the subject of collaboration talk of a different kind - this time with teen megastar Justin Bieber. The Canadian's manager, Scooter Braun, suggested that a near-biblical collaboration between the two camps was "very possible".
