One Direction pour cold water over Nickelodeon TV show talk

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has issued words of caution after Nickelodeon appeared to confirm that they've signed up the band for a TV show.

The US TV network had tweeted that they had put pen to paper on a deal to work on a "live-action development project" with the boyband.

However, speaking to On:Demand, Tomlinson reckons there has been a bit of a "misunderstanding" and that they haven't actually discussed a possible TV show yet. He said:

"I think there must have been some misunderstanding. We are doing the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, but as far as a TV show goes we haven't sat down and had that conversation."

He added: "To be honest, if it was up to me personally; I just want to focus on the music for now."
