Harry Styles, of One Direction fame, has revealed his concerns over his trademark floppy locks.

The heartthrob explained to The Sun newspaper that his hair is such an important part of his overall look that he worries it "might fall out" so has stopped covering it in gel and spray:

"I am a little concerned I might go bald soon. It worries me it might fall out. I am just watching how much I put on it now."

Earlier this week (April 1), Styles teased his followers on social networking site Twitter with the promise of exciting news:

"Just found out some exciting news about something happening in New York..can't wait to tell you all!"

The boyband also met First Lady Michelle Obama at the Kids' Choice Awards on Sunday night (April 1) although Styles claimed to have "too much respect for Barack" to comment on her appearance.
