Niall Horan's half eaten toast raises £65,000 for charity

A half eaten slice of toast gnawed by One Direction's Niall Horan has raised 65,000 for charity after it was auctioned online.

Horan was given a piece of toast with Vegemite on it whilst on an Australian breakfast TV show to see what he made of the spread's flavour.

With a screwed up face on show, it seems like the Irishman wasn't too keen on the piece of toast - so the TV crew decided to auction off the leftovers for kids charity YoungCare.

The piece of toast managed to fetch a staggering £65,000 by the end of the auction.

The item came with the following safety message however: "Please note: The item is perishable and although we will package it so that tampering is evident, we do not advise that it is consumed."
