One Direction's Louis Tomlinson talks going solo

Heartthrob Louis Tomlinson has opened up about life as a boyband member and revealed that now he's experienced being part of a group he doesn't think he would enjoy performing as a solo artist.

During a recent interview with Radio Live New Zealand, the talented singer explained that it's great to be constantly surrounded by the other lads in One Direction and he believes working as a solo star would be quite lonely:

"This would be such a different story if we were solo artists. I don’t know if me personally if I’d be able to hack it if I was a solo artist – it’s a lot of time away from home."

“But to have the other guys there with you is really nice and makes everything so much more fun."

One Direction have just arrived in the USA and will kick off their headlining stateside tour later tonight (May 22) in Connecticut.
