One Direction thank fans after "insane" headline US gig

One Direction have taken to Twitter to thank fans after an "insane" headline show in the States.

The British stars played Fairfax, Virginia last night (May 24) as they continue their North American tour with aplomb.

A number of the band's members took to Twitter to express their delight at the show and thanked fans in the process. Harry Styles said:

"The show tonight was absolutely insane! Thank you for having us Fairfax.xx"

Niall Horan meanwhile said: "Incredible gig in fairfax tonight! Sooooo loud! We had soo much fun on stage!"

Whilst Louis Tomlinson added: "Great gig tonight. Hope everyone is ok!! X."

One Direction meanwhile are back on the promotional trail in the US, tweeting an image of themselves getting ready to be interviewed for the Today show, which can be seen below.
