Boyband One Direction have announced details of an exciting competition that will give one incredibly lucky fan the chance to get airborne with them.

The lads have teamed up with British Airways and together they have launched a fantastic contest that offers the winning entrant the opportunity to board a plane with the 'One Thing' heartthrobs for lunch and a flight "to a secret location".

A promotional video uploaded to support the promotion shows the One Direction members larking around with props and aviation gear while their hit 'What Makes You Beautiful' plays in the background.

A message on the British Airways official Facebook page explains the prize in full: "You can win the amazing chance for you and two guests to spend time with One Direction on a flight to a secret location."

"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Not only will you get to fly with one of the world's biggest bands, they'll also give you VIP treatment and even serve you lunch!"

Fans of the group can enter by texting a special number with an answer to a simple question and part of the fee will be donated to Comic Relief. More details about the competition can be found on their official Twitter page.
