One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson has today sent a message to Rebecca Ferguson after the Liverpool singer described their Modest Management team as 'vile' on Twitter last night.

The ‘Nothing’s Real But Love’ hit-maker took to the social networking site to vent her fury after claiming she was being worked too hard.

But Louis replied to his fellow 2010 X-Factor finalist, in a tweet which has since been deleted, which appeared to defend their shared behind-the-scenes team.

He said: “Success is impossible without hard work.”

Ferguson, who dated Louis’ bandmate Zayn Malik for several months after their talent show run, told the management company she would see them in court in a string of angry messages, adding:

“Be nice to have a nice new responsible caring management team!! Who care for me and my childrens well being ‪#seeyouincourt!!!"
