Niall Horan’s family have revealed that their house has been bombarded with fanmail since the One Direction star rose to fame.

Brother Greg, who recently spoke about how the 18-year-old has remained down-to-earth, said that they receive letters from besotted fans by the sackful:

“Lots of stuff arrives at our house every week from all over the place.

“Some people just write ‘Niall Horan, Mullingar’ on it and it gets to the house anyway.”

The Irish heartthrob's older sibling went on to add that they also have to deal with fans turning up at their home in Westmeath:

“One time a girl got the shock of her life because Niall was there.

“Some of the fans know everything — they know he’s on the way home before we do sometimes and are at the airport when he gets in.”
