One Direction have confirmed that they have finished filming their next music video.

As previously reported, the British boyband announced on Thursday (August 23) that they are releasing new single 'Live While We're Young' on September 30 in the UK and a day later elsewhere.

The band members later revealed that they were already working on a music video for the song - and Harry Styles has now confirmed that the filming is a wrap. He tweeted:

"Day two finished, and that's the video for 'Live While We're Young' done. Amazing crew, amazing people involved. Thanks again.x."

Styles' bandmate Liam Payne meanwhile took to his own Twitter account to thank fans who helped make their new track the fastest selling pre-order single of all time, tweeting:

"Thank you to everyone of you who have pre ordered the single ! Love you all :)."

The track managed to hit No.1 in 40 countries worldwide as fans' excitement for new One Direction material reaches new heights.
