Niall Horan has today denied having any romantic involvement with Demi Lovato.

The One Direction singer, who has been linked with the former Disney star for several months, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show that their relationship is strictly platonic:

"Me and Demi, we're just really good friends. She's been doing well. She's been updating me on what she's been doing and stuff, and hopefully I will get to see her next week when we come to LA for the VMAs.

"We actually haven't met yet, but hopefully I'll get to see her next week."

Lovato has previously claimed she was thankful to have Horan in her life but has also continued to deny that the pair are dating.
