One Direction's Harry Styles: "MTV VMAs will be massive"

One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles believes this year's MTV VMA ceremony will be "massive".

The British boyband are performing at the event tonight (September 6) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

They're joined by the likes of Rihanna and Nicki Minaj on the bill and Styles told MTV News that he's expecting big things from the show. He said:

"I think people should expect just a massive show from the VMAs this year. If you look at the people who are performing, there are some massive, massive stars."

The 'One Thing' star continued: "It should be a great show, and we can't wait to perform. It's our first time, so it should be fun."

As previously reported, One Direction look set to bag at least one award at the ceremony as they edge closer to beating Justin Bieber in the Most Share-Worthy Video category.

The quintet are also up for the Best New Artist and Best Pop Video awards.
