Louis Tomlinson outraged over mother Twitter abuse: "Grow the f**k up"

One Direction's Louis Tomlinson has slammed disrespectful fans for sending online hate mail to his mother, Johannah Darling.

In a series of Twitter posts shared late last night (September 16), the heartthrob uploaded a screenshot (pictured below) of one particularly offensive message and explained that he's 'sickened' to think people are sending public tweets to members of his family that include vile language and threatening tones:

"Can I ask why this is ok? To think someone would speak to my Mum like that sickens me. Grow the f**k up! Just we are all clear the only person who has access to my account is me! :)"

"And now to finish on a good note :) ive clearly flipped on twitter today. I'm sorry to any REAL fan of ours that I've offended. All I've ever wanted to do from day one is please the people who support us. It's hard when people are rude to our families."

He added: "I love all our true fans so f**king much! That's a promise ! I assure you all I'm always true to myself ! #embarrassingtweet"

Meanwhile, the premiere date for One Direction's forthcoming brand new single 'Live While We're Young' has just been released via the group's official Twitter account: "#24Sept = First listen of #LiveWhileWereYoung!!! Woop! 1DHQ x"
