Louis Tomlinson reveals chart nerves over new single 'Live While We're Young'

One Direction's new single, 'Live While We're Young', went on sale this week and will chart on the weekend, and member Louis Tomlinson has admitted that he is wracked with nerves ahead of its Top 40 debut.

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier today (October 1), he explained that he's anxious to see how the song will do commercially and encouraged his 6.1 million followers to download it so that it has more chance of reaching the all-important No.1 spot:

"Hi guys getting nervous about Sunday lets push for another UK number 1 it would mean so much to get a number 1 here at home ! We can do this."

He then returned to the social networking site and added: "Big love to everyone all over the world for downloading our new single :) x."

'Live While We're Young' will be included in the midweek chart update on Wednesday, October 3 and the official position is set to be confirmed on Sunday, October 7.
