One Direction to perform in front of the Queen at Royal Variety show

One Direction have been added to this year's Royal Variety Performance, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

The annual event is due to take place on November 19 at the Royal Albert Hall in London and comedian David Walliams is set to host.

A number of acts have already been announced for the event, including Robbie Williams, the reformed Girls Aloud and Kylie Minogue.

One Direction have now been added to the line-up - and they're going to perform their new single 'Little Things' at the star-studded event.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are set to attend the show after missing the last two events.

The variety concert is set to be shown on UK television screens in early December on ITV1.
