Niall Horan favours topless recording

One Direction's Niall Horan recorded the whole of the band's new album topless.

The Irish charmer is famed for his cheeky ways, and bandmate Liam Payne says laying down vocals in the recording studio is no different.

Speaking to The Sun, Payne revealed that Horan sang vocals for the 'Take Me Home' album sans shirt.

He said: “Niall’s thing this time was taking his top off every time he recorded.”

Horan likes the attention he receives from fans thanks to his flirty ways.

He recently told Vogue magazine: "I love it. I love the screaming. They love it, too: they’ve all got their tickets and they’ve been waiting a year or so to see you, so you’ve got to give it your best."

One Direction are headlining Capital Radio’s Jingle Bell Ball on December 8 and 9.

The annual event - which is taking place at the O2 Arena in London - also boasts performance from acts including Bruno Mars, The Script, Little Mix, Lawson, Rizzle Kicks and JLS.
